Summary:
Karina’s legal career began as a post-graduate fellow through the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Fellowship Program in 2016. As a fellow, Karina was placed in the chambers of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Mooney and at the firms of Daniels, Fine, Israel, Schonbuch & Lebovits, LLP, and the deRubertis Law Firm.
While a student at Loyola Law School, Karina was a member and editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, a member and quarter-finalist of the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court team, and a mentor to high school students through the Young Lawyers Program. Karina knew she wanted to be an attorney at a young age. Before the ink had a chance to dry on her J.D., Karina had already immersed herself in the legal profession by shadowing various attorneys in depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations. Additionally, prior to joining the firm, Karina gained experience through her extensive work at several civil litigation firms.
During her time at Daniels, Fine, Israel, Schonbuch & Lebovits, LLP, Karina has handled cases through their complete resolution. Whether our clients desire an early settlement, or to have their day in trial, DFISL has you covered.
