Summary

Paul has over forty five (45) years of legal experience, with emphasis in the areas of insurance bad faith litigation, business litigation and construction law. He has served as special counsel to insurers in catastrophic landslide, earthquake, and fire loss cases, involving complex insurance coverage and construction-related issues.

Paul has been chosen and designated as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” (by Law & Politics, and the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine and Orange Coast Magazine) annually since 2005.

As a result of Paul’s work for United Services Automobile Association (“USAA”), the firm was identified as a “Go-To” Litigation Firm in Corporate Counsel Magazine in 2009.

As a result of Paul’s real estate and construction work for Texaco, the firm was recognized in the American Lawyer/Corporate Counsel Magazine survey in 1995 as one of the top 400 law firm’s in the nation.

In 2013, Paul received the distinguished “Champions of Justice” Award, from Loyola Law School.

Arbitration

As a Member of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) Commercial Panel from 1977 to the present, Paul has served as an arbitrator in excess of 100 construction law and commercial disputes.
